This site will be updated as and when I learn new tricks or any other corner cutting that I feel you people could benefit from. The reason for putting this site up is basically cause of the guys who I work with. Everyday they have new problems with there PC`s, some of which I cant repeat but some of which I can. There is no order to this site as I don't know what I`ll be uploading next, but I will try and make easy to navigate around. Problems I can think of at the minute are using "Fdisk"? (Adrian :-) This is the Dos command you use to set up partition/s on your hard drive. "Whats a partition"?......Its when you split up an physical hard drive into one or two more virtual drives. But as a rule if your hard drive/(HD) is not very big, say 1Gig then you don't need to split it into two or more virtual drives. "Whats the need of partitioning a HD anyway"? The best way to put it in a graphical sense is this.......Imagine you have a 46Gig HD. Lets say its the size of a kitchen drawer. Now you fill the drawer day by day with various pieces of cutlery, a knife here, a fork there. By the end of the week the drawer is quiet full and its a complete mess. So one day you want a knife? You goto the drawer and fight your way through all that cutlery trying to find a knife (file/info). Its abit of a task because of the build up of knifes, forks and spoons in one area, just like information on a hard drive. There wouldn't have been a problem if you had one of those cutlery separators to keep the drawer and its contents in order. See what I mean its the same with HD`s. If your HD is large and has no partitions on it, it will eventually make the computer slower to get the information/files that your after, because it has to shift through all that data. Hope I have explained it ok for you, more on this subject as the site grows........

I will make some menus which will be the main topics of my site. Email me if you like, but be nice as Viri can go your way. Hope you learn a thing or two. All the best

Bobby-Dee
